[المادة الثانية (حق الحياة)]
أ- الحياة هبة الله وهي مكفولة لكلّ إنسان، وعلى الأفراد والمجتمعات والدول حماية هذا الحق من كلّ اعتداء عليه، ولا يجوز إزهاق روح دون مقتض شرعي.
ب- يحرم اللجوء إلى وسائل تقضي بفناء الينبوع البشري.
ت- المحافظة على استمرار الحياة البشريّة إلى ما شاء الله واجب شرعي.
ث – يجب أن تصان حرمة جنازة الإنسان وأن لا تنتهك، كما يحرم تشريحه إلاّ بمجوّز شرعي، وعلى الدول ضمان ذلك.

Article Two: The Right to Life
A- Life is a gift from the Creator and it is guaranteed to every human being. Its protection is incumbent upon Individuals, societies and states from every violation or abuse. It is not permissible to take a life without a legitimate cause.
B – It is forbidden to resort to means that lead to the extinction of the human offspring.
c- Preserving the continuity of human life until Allah wills its end is a legal duty.
D – The sanctity of a person’s funeral must be preserved and not violated. No dissection is allowed save with a legal permission, and states must ensure that.
